Bio
Gamedev, and all artistic pursuits are processes of discovery. It's very hard, and all are stepping stones for greater understanding. Thank you to all that have lent us their voices.

5 - Games that are special or loved. See their reviews for why.

4 - Uniquely experimental and new, or executed so well that it becomes something special.

3 - Games I respect and have enjoyed greatly. Usually some great ideas and execution but aren't pushed as far as they could be.

2 - There is a spark but it is faint. Competent and worthwhile but largely unmemorable.

1.5 - Games that fail in interesting ways and curiosities.

1 - Games that are uninteresting wholly.

Games do not need to be finished to be rated. I don't judge games as full products, but as the experience I had with them.

For example, some games wear out their welcome, but are brilliant at their core. That isn't likely to be reflected in the score.

I will try to note these conditions in their reviews.

A decent stab at a DMC style action game from new developers. Does surprisingly well, but it is surrounded by so much fluff

Such a great premise, best characters in the series and yet it manages to be so increadibly stupid that it lost all it's hold on me.

I'm sure the world is still wonderful and many character moments will follow, but when I know that the foundation of the world is stupid, I can't keep invested.

has such a strong mood for a game of this type
