really cool experience I recommend for everyone who likes games and horror

The controls definitely aren't the best and sometimes I feel like my character moves too slow lol, but the story and the cutscenes are all really sick. It almost presses a bit too heavy on like the weird unique aesthetic, I can tell they really wanted to be different from every other game; that isn't usually a bad thing, but it was a bit extreme here sometimes. The TOS voices (which I admittedly liked by the end), the maps that felt like mazes, and some of the extensive notes were a bit much at times. As a developer it's a pretty good critique to have when someone says you tried too hard lol, you can tell they really put everything they had into this game. I said this after the first chapter and I think it still stands, this is an amazing story and experience in an okay game. I wish there were some more complexities within the gameplay for sure, but the mechanics it does have work pretty well. The part with the flashlight was dumb as hell though... The game gets progressively better with every chapter which I really like, and I don't know the other endings yet but I'm satisfied with what I got, and I think it's cool how there are multiple endings in general. I know with some of the critiques I said a 4/5 doesn't sound right, but the aesthetics, atmosphere, story, and animation are genuinely amazing and make it a great experience all on its own. Probably the most unique game I've ever played in my life, really glad I got to go through all of it in a day.
