Honestly would say the game is overrated, I guess the game has slightly more fair level design on average compared to 1? Weapon balance is disgusting, pretty much all of the weapons bar Metal Blade feel horrible to use during the stages.

Also I think the Wily Stages in this are much worse than in 1 and casually has the most annoying boss I fought so far. Still decently fun to play.
