An amazing comeback from Platinum in my eyes. As someone that really didn’t like the way Bayonetta 2 went with it’s combat among other things, this is the Bayonetta sequel I have always wanted. The combat in this is amazingly fun, but what I did not expect was just how much shit is in this game.
There’s so many weapons that are all fun to use, so many demons, so many different things to do in every chapter. Hell, every single weapon has its own method of traversal and it makes exploring so much fun unlike in the previous games where I never bothered doing much exploration.
This game blew me away with its spectacle; I had a blast the whole way through. I unironically loved the gimmick stages and I could not stop smiling while playing. If it weren’t for the very middling story and the uninspired enemy designs (everything is just a green glob of goo with not much personality) this would have been a 5/5. Despite that, Bayonetta 3 is an amazing game and it feels so good to be happy with a Platinum title again.

this game fucking rocks
game would be absolute kino if it had the story and side missions of the original. also the level structure because the levels here suck ass. combat and music was really good though
