I have literally lost friends to this game. Literally, I had a friend in high school that I used to hang out with frequently during senior year and post-graduation. However, since he picked up this fucking game he quite literally stopped talking to all of his friends and lives on Discord.

and if yall thought that was bad i lost myself to this game for 6 years, even one of my friends told me i seem like a much happier person whenever I'm not playing this, was able to get out early 2019 thankfully.
same here. used to be a fun guy then he started playing this shit regularly and now he doesn't post in the gc unless he's talking shit about someone and leaves me on read even when I directly ping him about things he used to love.
