man, furries are awesome.
this game doesn't take too long to beat but it just feels absolutely worth replaying. at the forefront, it's a pretty simple rail shooter with some interesting gameplay and mechanics, but what really sells this game to me is the different level designs and missions paired with each of them, and how you play through them affects the trajectory of your journey and your allies' condition. the voice acting and animations behind most objects in this game i feel are part of what makes this so enjoyable, ESPECIALLY the final boss. the final boss impressed me with how well it was animated, the whole nausea affect, and its fighting sequences. all in all, i had a really great time with this, and this is definitely my favorite N64 game so far.

playing through this game feels pretty simple but the concept overall is pretty unique (for its time?). the different puzzles it offered were pretty clever, and i love how it offered more stuff to play through once it seemed over. of course, i also like the secrets which, paired with the music, adds some kind of depth and change in atmosphere. anyways, i had a great time with this game, and i'm looking forward to playing the sequel soon (possibly).
its ok. i like the part where you go in Mario's balls though
