This game is pretty fun it is pretty good I don't have a huge history with this title only recently playing it I really want to try the game cube version of this game since i hear it is fun. The sprite work is clean but looks better in the second game and the beatemup is a little worse than some of the earlier entries because instead of having a lot of area to free roam you can only fight left or right or up and down. def give this game a check out if you love the 2003 show or just want a decent game to spend your time with

This game was one of my most important childhood games so i love it near and dear in my heart. After years I recently replayed it and really enjoyed every part of it. Unlike other ninja turtle games instead of being a beatum up this game is like a stealth action platformer. At the beginning of every stage the first half of the level is trying to where your weapon is located and all you have equipped are ninja stars that do very little damage, but they can stun the enemy and give you time to hide. The combat can feel a little janky at times you can only land three attacks in a row after the third attack there is a slight cool down to get around this you can just do 2/3s of the combo it helps when you have to deal with multiple enemies. I personally really enjoy the level design it plays similar to an action platformer such as castlevania (both are made by konami after all the final fight with Shredder is basically fighting dracula mixed with ganondorf lol) with plenty of fun platforming challenges with punishment that doesn't feel unfair which is nice when it encourages taking risks especially because this game can get fairly difficult in feudal japan in particular or many of the smup sections found here. This game takes place with my favorite turtles cartoon so i am defiantly biased when i say this is my favorite turtles game by far and will always have a special place in my heart. if you are looking for a fun ninja turtles game or a fun action platformer i recommend checking this game out you won't be disappointed
