if this were half the length it would've been perfect

this ultra competitive fast paced shit isn't for me anymore, man

the writing is worse than i remembered lol

This review contains spoilers

it's pretty good, as i hoped it would be but the rumors are true: the ending does suck

everything else is top notch tho

liking pineapple on pizza is equivalent to wiping out an island population

it's fine. i don't like how the double jump isn't very forgiving (you have to be on solid ground to get two jumps, no exceptions) and the rhythm candy levels were a pain in the ass

not very inclined to complete it again with the other characters tbh

late edit, 2023-05-06: please turn off the smooth turn option in the settings, it'll make the characters' movement feel much better

incredible how a game as rough as this ever got a sequel that improved on every single aspect of it and spawned a great series

short and sweet, despite not minding SW2's procedurally generated levels and RPG elements i still prefer the way this game cuts all the fat and goes all killer, some filler.

could have done with more bosses tho. jumping back in NG+ pretty soon

kinda wonky driving but it gets nice once you get used to it, and then you'll get angry when it does stuff you don't expect like the gravel turning to ice or the tarmac gripping up all of a sudden.

i wish i could use different cars in the championship, the RS200 is right there!

stick to the story mode, you'll have a better time

if you do want to keep on playing further, just stop when you get bored. not worth going for 100%.

ask me how i know

it was a nightmare to get running properly and the final cutscene fucked itself, so despite it being a very decent game those two things really hampered my experience

also the fact that ubisoft turned off the online functionalities means i can never complete all 4E missions
