It had terrible visuals, half the content that it should’ve, ran at 12 fps, and had flat lifeless environments. Even if the performance issues were fixed the game would still be bad. The soundtrack was pretty good though and there were some dinosaurs in it.

This game is the reason we don’t have elder scrolls 6 yet.

The simulation aspects are so ahead of the time but the game has a really baren procedurally generated world and copy/pasted 2d sprites for NPCs that it ruins the enjoyment of those impressive systems. It deserves a lot of points for trying though even regardless of if the tech wasn’t caught up to Bethesdas ambitions.
