Man, I love Spider-Man and this game did a great job at making me feel like Spider-Man.

Marvel's Spider-Man is a fantastic Spider-Man game in terms of it's story and gameplay and characters, but it does have a few problems in terms of gameplay and story elements that stops it from being an almost perfect game for me.

The story is fantastic and explores Peter well as a character, and I love that they put Peter in well into his career, and the gameplay and dialogue helped give insight to what his backstory his. My main problem with the story is Aunt May's death, I feel like she wasn't in the game much to the point where it comes to her death, I didn't feel anything. I feel like she should've been explored more as a character but the scenes where we do see her, she's a great character. Also, I love how personal this story is for Peter too, which made the final boss very interesting to play.

The gameplay is very good, it has the best webslinging mechanics in the game and it's a great starting point for Insomniac to develop over the next few games. The open world after the main story ends is a little boring and flat so I try to do everything I can before the main story ends so I won't feel that boredom. The side missions were also kind of repetetive but I feel like storywise, it explores the "friendly neighbourhood" aspect well. The boss battles is my biggest gripe, I did NOT feel any challenge towards them at all and and they became very repetitive.

The music is god damn amazing, I love the main theme and the graphics are really fucking good, especially in the remastered version of the game.

OVERALL: Marvel's Spider-Man is a great start to a new chain of Spider-Man games, I love how it sets up the next game in true Marvel fashion, and I can't wait to see what they do with the characters and gameplay from here on out.

OVERALL SCORE: 9/10

As part of my prep for Netherrealms's next game which I believe could be Injustice 3, I decided to check out Injustice 1 and 2. I've already reviewed IJ1, now is the time for 2.

Overall, i think this game is a much better game than the first one, because obviously there are things that have been improved on like gameplay, story, character designs which I will get into.

The story was much improved and less confusing, it had a clear goal from the beginning and I thought it had some cool moments of heart with some characters but they weren't too great.

The gameplay was also improved and a lot more fun to play, I liked some of the special moves, especially Batman's move and Superman's as well, the gear system was ok but I've not really played fights against CPU's much so I'm probably touching the surface when it comes to some of the gear.

Character designs were cool as well, I loved some of the suit designs in this game and the graphics helped them looked nice, especially Batman's design too.

The music could've been way better, I wish there was a main theme across both games that could be recognised, something like Mortal Kombat.

OVERALL: A big improvement from Injustice: Gods Among Us, better story, better characters and villains, even a better roster. FINAL SCORE is 8/10.

So, I'm not usually a fan of fighting games but Injustice always interests me as it is to do with capeshit and the DC universe and with Netherrealm confirming they are working on their next project (likely Injustice 3), I decided to do my playthroughs of both Injustice games, starting with Injustice Gods Among Us (haha sus)

Starting with the story, it's ok at most? It's kinda confusing and easy to lose track of how many alternate versions of Batman and Superman there are, also some/most of the moments where it feels epic doesn't hit right with me, however the goal is quite simple of what it wants to achieve by the end.

The gameplay mechanics is obviously a big thing and for me, it's mid and I say this because I'm not a big fighting game fan, I just tend to button mash and not pay attention to the combos lmao. It's very fun but can be frustrating at times.

Graphics are very outdated and some of the character designs are awful, the only one I really like is Prime or Regime Batman, can't remember which one, and the Joker design, also Superman's design is alright. But I can't believe Lex Luthor looks like Bruce Willis! LMAO!

OVERALL: my score for this game is an 7/10. I highly recommend it to anyone who is a DC Fan anyway!
