this game is like the grasshopper of platformer rouge-likes

A very lovely organization game to play with a buddy, the simple design and gameplay is so comfy. Two things tho, I wish the 'see next order' upgrade worked and that there was a better endgame / working endless mode

A perfect extra dlc for this game, doesn't change the story, just enriches kratos's relationship with his past actions. The gameplay is one of the smartest moves too, it helped expand my range of abilities used and weapon play styles. It fits the game so well I would play eve nmore bosses if they had any more.

this one is for all you warioware whelks in the chat

2023

Fun and short story that does pull on the heart strings. LOVE the music theme and major beats. Felt real with that ending.

It pays well the fishmen's life it does. Not really deep into the mad horror stuff the game provides but I love the world and gameplay loop this gem provides. This indie charms me and keeps me coming back when I can get my hands on it. Will come back to complete or explore the dlc for sure!

Enjoyed the rouge-lite elements, but didn't get a chance to dive in really deep. Love to see all the shovel knight fellas, gonna have this one as a slow burn to go back in forth to

Played one game as Korea doing science. I honestly like the changes from civ 5 it's just getting use to what gets me. City districts are a nice shake up but really wondering for the smaller civs. Also this game was a time sink as usual but that's what I like about them, you're really building something. I think I was still limiting myself by not expanding a different play style or not trying to put myself in a random civ like how started civ 5. So for when I'm gonna come back to it, I'm really will try to experiment.

Still love the way you move in this game, and I love the updates on the mission system, alot more fluid than the previous. Story beats aren't too bad either, I guess I was still not ready for more spiderman? It's been roughly 20 months but still. Will come back to

This was a real fun puzzle game, I like the Gameboy aesthetic so much along with honestly simple mechanic. I wish I could reach more of a clear benchmark for getting the story beats since I played for those hooks moreso than the puzzle. There also might be like 300 levels so maybe this is a shelf one

This is up there with the best 2d marios, bros 3 and world. Creativity is so killer and the charm is everywhere with challenges galore. It also marks the first time playing one of these only with multiplayer which also was only positive instead of just funny and sometimes annoying. The 'weird' era of mario keeps winning

i love katamari, this game really is like the ultimate vibe. Amazing music and ill come back to you soon

This was the only other auto-battler besides tft that broke the interest barrier for me, its so simple but so wild. The animals just having some perma stat boosting traits over having a class system works so nice and much more easy to pick up than tft. I like the shake up with the packs I've tried, there's only been a few times where I feel like im looping back to the same builds which is impressive. I wish they added more of a reason to keep coming back but at the same time im glad it never felt like it overstayed its welcome. I will keep coming back to this as a competitive friends game or something to fill a little time up with

It just didn't hook me with the two suppose to be songs or the 'game' part of the game. Also the art style didn't hook me at all, they have a fuzzy filter on all the characters

I feel so connected with this Hyrule. After 2 playthroughs of botw, I was worried the world was going to feel over-worn. SO so wrong, the traveler in me that got me in the first game was reborn with the knowledge of the past world being my first take. Even when I got the loop going of new areas, I just kept getting surprised with the quests, locales, and crazy enough the story. Getting light spoiled was a bummer but nothing could keep the smile and feelings I got with the ending just actually justifying the term epic as cringe as that sounds. But I could keep getting lost and finding stuff forever, i didnt even go nuts with the shrines with only 120ish and only having a few machines that i truly toyed around with. I think it does take og botw out since there's so much more and it still enamored me like it. Pure exploration bliss man
