Yeah, you're right. I don't know if you'll read this, but if you had to reccomend one of those games to a complete newbie to the series, which would it be?

it's a series that's aged pretty well, timeless mechanics are always timeless. sor1 is a good starting point still tbh

Streets of Rage 4 is very accessible!
