This game was almost universally in every 360/ps3 owners collection growing up, it was a must have. And for good reason, it’s a bigger and badder Arkham asylum with refined combat and stealth mechanics. It also brings me back to a much simpler time.

Perfect length and didn’t stay it’s welcome.

That ending was waaaaack yo. Did Peter dirty.

Man, miles is a really dope Spider-Man too bad they degraded the formula that the first game had. I miss the MJ stealth sections and the young miles sections too. Felt like there wasn’t a whole lot to do outside of the story and I would most definitely take average filler content than what we got here just feels barren for content. And because I’m a dinosaur none of Miles villains are that interesting. If they brought in Peter Parker villains I would have liked it way more but Tinkerer and Prowler are trash. Any ways I’m along for the ride and will play the sequel very soon.

It doesn’t excel at the collectathon department but it’s not bad either. The game play and story is what kept me playing and it’s definitely the games strongest aspects imo. Onto Miles Morales.

I think we got ourselves a masterpiece folks. This might just to me, set the bar for story telling in video games. I felt like I was experiencing a creation made by Stephen King and David Lynch in another timeline where they somehow collaborated. 10/10 also have broke the mould into my top 3 of all time.

Man… the era when everyone had a CRTV and a 360 you had to of been there. I replayed because I saw it on the Nintendo e shop. Firstly the gameplay is all that’s holding this up. The story is such ass garbage and it doesn’t even have a crazy twist, oh and every level is identical as far as the objectives go. Those are the two complaints that warrant a 3 1/2 star. However I was impressed with the graphics on the switch and drilling the shit out of enemies brings me back to a good time in my life. The DLC was just too un interesting I didn’t finish. I honestly only recommend this to the peeps that had a 360 and a CRTV. But if you have no nostalgia attachment to it I find it hard to recommend.

I couldn’t see it to the end but while I was there I had a good time. 3/5

I waited 3 years to play this game for obvious reasons. When patch 2.0 came I bought it with phantom liberty. I can honestly say this was truly one of the more immersive games I’ve played, the world just feels alive and believable, the characters are a chefs kiss (aside from the dlc) johnny silverhand made me want to have my first cigarette since I was 19 years old. The story and side quests I don’t remember a single bad quest. The guns are fun and have some weight and girth to them. The upgrade tree is about as good as you get in a game like this. I can’t really nit pick it because the execution is so on point. My only complaint is the radio isn’t that good aside from ‘pebkac’ and ‘impulse’ the rest are just forgettable lol.

Phantom Liberty about half way through had me rolling my eyes so hard that they started to hurt. Night City is vast and believable that it felt like it could have gone with or without V. Dogtown on the other hand is like 2 blocks… the story is shoehorned and I don’t care about any of the events or characters (except president Myers she is a bad bitch) so about half way through I was ready to move on from cyber punk and I give phantom liberty a 3/5. I wish I could write a more in depth review but the Covid head fog is getting the best of me.

Second Atlus game I have sank time into. Around the 40 hour mark, and I more or less felt the same as I did for SMT 5. Which gave me this feeling of being “burnt out” I think it would have been better for me to wait for this one a little longer and I’m pretty damn sure I would have played to completion.

Ya know. I hated this game for a long time and wanted nothing to do with it. It was unwarranted because I was some sort of gay ignoramus Tekken elitist. But this game is at my place of work and it has made me fall in love with fighting games again, hell I started practicing this game and bought Street Fighter 6 all in one night because it just gave me that fighting game ‘bug’ again. Anyways, this is the greatest crossover game in history, getting to see Ryu fight Minecraft Steve is just meme magic. The combinations and absurdities know no bounds. The graphics are easy on the eyes, easy to learn hard to master, the roster is 10/10. I don’t know how to end the review…

Honestly the side quests were pretty cool, it felt like old Bethesda again. And this game does take a shit on the last two Bethesda games. But still, it’s not very good, if you’re idea of fun is to hit a loading screen every two seconds then be my guest. Go play Mass Effect it’s way better.
The performance was pretty decent on Xbox it’s a shame you are locked in 4k though because I would have liked a higher frame rate. The graphics are pretty good imo. And maybe if I was in high school/middle school and not a jaded old ass, I would have liked it.

This was my first Atlus game I played to completion. (The only other one was I got a quarter through Persona 5)

I liked it, it was a solid 4/5 star, until the last sequence. That ending was not very good either. It made me want a 3/5 stars but felt that was dishonest because I did put 50 hours into the game.

I really thought the gameplay was fun and reminded me of Pokémon which is probably super obvious to the peeps that even know this game in passing, I never did. And the grind was fun I thought the boss fights can be pretty tough. Requires a good grind to get a roster that can beat them with their weakness.

The story was actually alright for the first half or so then it just starts to rush the plot and gives you some lame choices that probably determine who the final bosses are. All three were really lame and about a puddle deep as to why you would be motivated to choose any of them. What’s left for me though is this game has got me on this itch for anime/jrpg’s games. And I will most definitely check out the other games in Atlus’ catalog.

Third time trying to enjoy and still can’t see it to the end. It’s alright
