The last Pokemon game I ever played and it'll probably stay that way. Stupid fucking ice cream cones and gears. The series should've stopped a long time ago.

A new low point for Ubisoft. It's a bit fun starting off, although the jank is apparent from the very beginning. It doesn't take long for everything to wear thin though, as you'll be doing the same exact things over and over and over, whether it be for the main missions or side content. The story is generic nonsense, with plenty of unlikable characters thrown at you nonstop. Giancarlo Esposito surprisingly didn't phone it in - his performance is great, the highlight of the game even, but you even get sick of him by the end when the story completely turns to shit.

The best game in the series - The combat finally feels weighty and impactful, the characters are all interesting and relatable while avoiding being over the top, and the set pieces are fucking unmatched. Not having a supernatural element to the story, unlike all the previous entries, is also a big plus.

One of my favorite beat em ups ever. The story is nonsense of course but the roster of playable characters as well as variance in the environments are great. Every character feels different and unique from each other.

Worth noting the Nintendo DS version is awful, just a way more watered down version with a really annoying lock picking minigame?

Liked it way more than any of the original PS3 games. Delvin isn't great, but he definitely has more of a personality than Cole. The graphics, especially on the various power effects, are beautiful. And fire powers are just fucking sweet - Super satisfying to puff through a vent as a cloud of smoke.

Super original and charming with endless content due to super creative fans. Was magic while it lasted and later entries haven't been able to capture that magic.

Nice of them to be constantly throwing the suicide hotline number in your face because wasting time on this will make you want to kill yourself.

Legitimately probably the worst thing I've ever played. Powered through the first 2 chapters then got to the part of chapter 3 where it turns into the Slenderman game and I said fuck it.

The "deep" depressed girl dialogue is unintentionally hilarious with how absolutely stupid it is. The terrible voice acting doesn't help either. Not scary whatsoever, the little bit of gameplay other than walking is abysmal, the story was entirely predictable (in addition to just dumb). Can't believe this game hasn't been given the Forspoken treatment with the dialogue being meme'd to death. Any day now.

Certainly one of the most unique games of all time, if nothing else. Super addicting, and also super frustrating at times. Despite not loving it, would kill for a higher budget modern take on it.

Certainly a good game, but also certainly a disappointment given the hype and acclaim going into it. It has so much going for it and also so much that falls flat. While the 2018 game had a clear goal, and you were always working towards that goal, so much of the time spent in this game just feels aimless. Characters make stupid decisions and many character's motivations seem to change out of nowhere for no real reason. Plot points that are made to feel very important are then abandoned out of nowhere.

On the other end of things, some of the story details and way they tie things together are absolutely genius and/or beautiful. While the gameplay has been perfected from the last game, the highlight remains its characters and the dialogue between them. So many great little and big moments between the cast. The side content is also some of the best content in the game.

Please never make me play as Atreus again.

The definition of quantity over quality. It's a wonder they even bothered adding story levels to this, it's clear that nearly 0 effort was put into them whatsoever. Maybe if they scrapped them then the open world side missions could've been more than just fetch quests that have you going back and forth between planets with a terrible tracking system. The sheer amount of bugs as well as lack of QoL features is inexcusable, especially so long after launch.

Where the game does shine and is actually fun is when you're exploring each open world planet, making your way through the collectables with a BotW/Scribblenauts type of 'make your own solution' approach. Even this wears thin eventually though as the same puzzles are repeated over and over and the rewards for most missions are joke characters just made up for the game.

The humor does land a lot of the time, but man these games had so much more charm when they didn't talk.

The best FromSoftware game and honestly a good contender for the best game of all time. Cannot get enough of the macabre setting, whether it be mobs of beastmen stalking the streets or secret alien babies under churches.

Your right hand comes off?

One of the most influential games of the 2000s if not the most influential, with games releasing today still showing clear signs of inspiration from Resident Evil 4. Not just the series' best but one of the greatest games of all time. The perfect blend of horror, action, tension, and campiness.

The first third of the game is absolutely phenomenal - Jack is an all time great villain for the series. Everything after you escape from the house is a downgrade, but certainly not bad. The game's most blatant flaw is the lack in enemy variety, with stupid tar enemies that aren't particularly scary or satisfying to kill making up every enemy encounter that isn't a boss. Certainly flawed, but a successful and much needed reimagining for the series.

Incredibly hard game to rate. From a technical aspect, the game is a class of its own. When it comes to graphics, gameplay, animations, etc it is unmatched. I would say the story is good overall with lots of glaring flaws, pacing being the worst of them. Certain portions of the game are way too long. The first game showcased a ton of locations across America which led to large environmental variety, Part II suffers from mostly being set in a single city with the same environment over and over. It's a great game, but doesn't come close to the bar the first set.

Amazing, probably the first really great super hero video game. Tons of friends and foes with great writing that was true to the characters. I didn't have a memory card at the time so actually never beat it, the Carnage boss fight was the furthest I ever got.
