I really like this game. I think. I'm pretty sure. But whenever I come back and think about it I don't know how much I actually like it. But I do like it.

I love this game. I have always loved this game. Somehow before this playthrough I'd never completed either The Signal or The Writer (primarily because I played the game when it first came out and never went back for the dlc). They might be my favorite parts. The stuff with using the flashlight on the words to gather ammo and use environmental effects is so cool. I love the Ferris Wheel in The Writer. Is the combat like, Good good? No, but its fine, and the loop of using your flashlight on enemies to drop their shields or temporarily stun them feels good. I kind of wish 2 had more of that stuff in it.

It's clunky, it's got a lot you can complain about, but at the end of the day it's just such a charming game. Every Twin Peaks reference makes me laugh now that I've seen the show, and the cardboard cutouts of each character in The Signal are wonderful. Just one of my favorite games in the world.

I'm SHOCKED at how much I liked this. I miss this kind of game so much.

It's shocking how fun this game is. I expected nothing after ten years in development but they got me. I'm a sucker for granblue anyway, but the fights are great, the pulls they use for bosses are great, and the story really hit.

Absolutely phenomenal. I didn't know what my expectations were going into this game but it absolutely delivered. Some of the best, most fluid movement I've seen in a game since Celeste, which this is borrowing from in a lot of ways. The combat is solid, the upgrades are so creative in what they give you and how they're presented, and the challenge rooms for platforming feel absolutely incredible. You should do yourself a favor and play this game.

She really did traumatize so many cia guys

It would suck so bad if there were like twelve rich white guys who controlled the world

Man FUCK the first penitent holy shit. This could have been a four! Christ.

It's crazy that they made an Alan Wake 2 in the first place, its even crazier that it's this good. Multiple ridiculously good setpieces, incredible FMV sequences, and a really great story. My main complaint is that the game is scary enough on its own without all the jump scares! You didn't really need all of those.

Pretty good. I think the bullet time helps you some but hinders you a lot more of the time. The game doesn't move fast enough to really justify ever slowing down and god help you if you need to reload or switch weapons while it's active.

The story was pretty good but it started to really drag in the back half.

Marcus Fenix talks to everyone in this game with the cadence of an elementary school teacher on a long field trip

I don't know that any other game in history makes you feel as smart as when you get a confirmation on your suspicions in Return of the Obra Dinn.

What could I possibly say. A masterpiece. More games should be books.
