I am just utterly beside myself right now. The Last of Us Part II took me on an immersive, emotional journey unlike anything I've ever experienced in film or video games before. It is storytelling on another level combined with the best gameplay and graphics yet from a Naughty Dog title. A true masterpiece of the genre.
Game of the Year? Unquestionably.
Game of the Generation? Probably.
Best Game Ever Made? I could make an argument.

It Takes Two

The writing is fantastic and the gameplay is overflowing with creativity. It's the most unique experience that I've ever had in a co-op game. Had a little frustration with glitches here and there, and the overarching story of saving a marriage didn't quite come together for me like I'd hoped by the end, but this will forever be one of the games that I recommend most and I don't expect to play anything quite like it for a long time.
