i had fun and i got it cheap. so i consider that a win. also there's a stage where you can play peppy and he shouts barrel roll every time you do a barrel roll

started it feeling maybe i shouldn't be playing more fire emblem after the 160 hours i logged in fates revelation + 25 in fire emblem gba because i was feeling pretty burnt out from the gameplay loop. then the leon plot happened and now i think this is my favourite of the older fe games i've played. (eirika route)

not necessarily one of my all time fave zeldas but i do think it has a pretty near perfect utilisation of the side quest mechanic. yes the world is ending in three days and only you can save it but dammit you WILL help this little girl fight off aliens that are trying to steal her cows. not only that but The Power Of Helping People In Need (Who Give You Masks) significantly reduces the difficulty level of the final boss. take that, loser!

genuinely bizarre experience to finish this in two days when i remember AGONIZING over the puzzles as a kid to the point that i never finished the thing. anyway it was good i liked it

this is a great game which i happen to have a particular attachment to because it was the first ace attorney game i played, but my GOD does the third case REALLY need to go over that SAME unskippable concert clip EVERY time it gets brought up?

real talk the moment i decided firmly i wasn't going to bother with the remake is when i found out they cut the photo album side quest. sure it doesn't net you anything, but it's fun!

would be better without the homophobic stereotype in the third case tbh!!

i'm a deeply impatient person so the fact that it's SO easy to get lost in this game AND you get sent back to the start screen if you die doesn't exactly endear me to it, although i did have fun

super fun! you can tell it was developed early in the 3ds' life-cycle because MAN does it use every single control gimmick the system has. only time i had a problem with that was gyro because i found it really hard to focus on the action while i was tilting this way and that. but otherwise i very much enjoyed it

not to be dramatic or anything but i'm literally going to die if prime 4 doesn't have a motion control option. for some reason finishing this game made my brain become absolutely fixated on metroid and now i own the two gba games as well so take that as a recommendation i guess

i had so much trouble following the bad guy in this game when i was a kid so i never completed it. and then this time round i managed that in like 3 gos. rip 9 y/o me.

i had a pretty fun time but also i'm kinda glad i got this game as a freebie

i am until the day i die a twilight princess long opening tutorial section apologist

play this trilogy if you want fire emblem three houses world at war choose one of three sides storyline but like. worse. i think nothing sums this up more than the extreme copout of having one guy be Very Obviously Bad no matter who you play as, followed by the reveal in the third game that he's like possessed or something anyway. i don't necessarily regret playing these three games but it's kinda hilarious how much three houses improves on every interesting facet. more morally ambiguous side choices, better more expansive gay options that aren't just Guy Who Gets Off On Murder and Your Stalker, and you don't have to buy THREE WHOLE GAMES just to experience the entire plot!
