Relaxing, charismatic, funny, stylish, colorful, engaging, simple gameplay but so much fun to play. I particularly enjoy the feeling of flying around the island, it's so nice and gracious. Definitely worth playing.
Incredible gameplay
Stunning visuals.
Amazing customization.
Awesome soundtrack.

As a kid, THPS games were always one of my favorites and a great way to pass the time. And oh boy... this game has got it all. Most fun I've had in quite a while.

Good game with a captivating story and kinda average gameplay. Despite being good, I felt that some missions were too long and too repetitive, which made me a little tired of it. Also, some puzzles are not really that fun to find the solution, it just gets annoying. But the finale did bring me some interest in the story again and I want to know more about it.

I definitely underestimated how much fun this game would be to play. I bought it at the Devolver Digital Steam Sale in 2020 and it was a huge surprise, in terms of visuals and gameplay. As soon as I opened the game, the color palette won me over, the beige and the rusty burgundy color is an incredible combination and the contrast between the colors helps to differentiate each element of the game. The animations look very good, particularly the way the water behaves and all the explosions. The soundtrack is worthy of a Devolver Digital game, as always very cool. Composed by Jukio Kallio, and combining military instrumentation with an electronic vibe. And the most AWESOME thing about it is that depending on the parts you choose for your plane, the music changes. The gameplay seems extremely complicated when you're watching the game, but by playing it you realize that you have everything under control, the challenge is to manage that control correctly. The difficulty increases at the right pace, making everything more fun and not frustrating. I just missed a more elaborate story, or some kind of lore. But at the same time, I also think it is not really that necessary.
Right away, what caught my attention was the super stylish look of this game, which seems to be a pattern of Terri Vellmann's games, like High Life and Heavy Bullets. Devolver Digital chooses very well the games they'll publish and they end up creating a pattern of stylish and bizarre games that are almost immediately associated with them.

The incredible character design and the industrial/corporate landscape full of colorful and creative graffiti tags really make this game especially stylish. Not to mention the menu that mimics a computer desktop, where you can tweak your settings, install apps you find throughout the game, and even play games within the game itself.

Though one thing that bothers me about the visuals is the VHS filter and the twisting of the screen while you browse the menus, but it is something that can be easily disabled.

The gameplay is super simple, although being a little clunky in the movement of your character. But I loved the mix of parkour (simple as it may be) to get to high places with the goal of leaving your tag in a prominent place. It gets even more satisfying when two graffiti artists get together and make a combo.

I certainly missed a more elaborate story, quests, character development, 'cause I wanted to see so much more of this bizarre world and its grumpy characters.
There's not too much to say about Titanfall 2. It's just so damn fun! Definitely one of the best first-person shooters I've played in a while. Parkour, wall-running, double jump, slide-boost, everything is really fast and frantic.

Great gameplay concept, great characters, great puzzles, great art direction, great soundtrack. Pack it all up with a lot of replay value and you got Minit.
Charming and creative.

Islands: Non-Places takes you to everyday scenarios and gives them a twist creating a trippy experience of clicks, flashing lights and simple puzzles. Color, light, shadow, silhouettes, everything is very well used. In addition, the sound design is impeccable, making the ambience much more immersive.

This game knows what it wants to do, and it does it incredibly.

Another World is pretty challenging in the right way. Visual-wise, this game is stylish as hell, I really dig the color palette. The way that combat and puzzles blend together is amazing. But some of the platforming is quite annoying and very imprecise, which really throws you off sometimes along with some unforgiving checkpoints. Overall, pretty good game.
Stylish visuals and pretty simple and enjoyable gameplay. CounterSpy is a game that I didn't like at first, but after playing it again being more careful with not being seen AT ALL by the enemies, the game became WAY more fun. The sensation of getting to the end of the missions without raising the DEFCON level felt very satisfying.
Great storytelling tied in with creative gameplay mechanics.
Lovely game. Definitely worth a play!
I appreciate the beautiful visuals with cute characters and a colorful world. But halfway through the game, I was already wondering when it was going to end.

As a person who likes to see all the possibilities of dialogues with NPCs, this game was a pain in the ass, because most of the dialogues are soooo uninteresting and the humor is so over-the-top silly and dorky.

Not to mention the movement of your character that is super slow, which makes backtracking very tiring and tedious. And also puzzles that, right as you see'em, you already know how to solve them.

I really wish I liked Pikuniku more, but after finishing it I am grateful to have paid a low price for it.
It's quite a fun game. It's a shame I've only got to play it after 7 years of its release, so it's impossible to find anyone online. I do hope to play it locally with friends, maybe it'll be more fun.
After playing Sludge Life, I wanted to experience more of Terri Vellman's games, and I think maybe I had my hopes too high for this one (pun not intended), but High Hell was just... okay. Despite the fun, bizarre and colorful visuals, I found myself not really enjoying the experience. The combat is the main part of the game, but it feels so dull. It felt like an attempt to be kinda like Hotline Miami, but it fails to deliver the frantic and satisfying combat. I do enjoy the final boss and the loading screens though.
Neat short game with some silly sense of humor, good stuff.
Fun game with a hint of replayability, but it can get boring very quickly. Still recommend you try to play it though.

Had some fun playing through the first levels but had no reason to go back to it. Not for me.
If you like puzzles in the style of "Where's Waldo?", this one is for you. For me, it's a stylish game with a cool concept, but kinda boring/frustrating after a while.
Fun little tech demo.

Interesting little experiment. Play it if you have the chance.
Made my the same people that developed KIDS (2019). Another fun experiment, although a tad less interesting. But it's just 10 minutes, so why not play it?

Meh... it's fun for a few minutes but it starts getting very repetitive and boring as you play.
It's an unique experience, but not that interesting in my opinion.
Just not for me.
Wheels of Aurelia is kinda weird.

You talk to other characters while driving and create your story according to small choices of dialogues and paths that can influence the plot. But the dialogues flow in such a strange and disconnected way, and as the characters are never developed, it's very difficult to empathize with them.

Also, you drive and talk, but none of those mechanics work very well.

But hey, the game is very beautiful. I'll give 'em that.
