The devs did an excellent job making the original half life a modern experience; I do wish they went a bit farther in expanding some of the game's exposition, I really enjoyed the conversations between marines and the things you can hear on the radio, but I wanted more, and the final conversation with the G-man always felt like a bit of an anticlimax to me, and it remained that way. However, I understand the desire to keep the game as close to the original as possible, with it being as regaled as it is.
