Lesbian mech pilots, what more can I say?

Honestly HWBM’s biggest flaw is also a strength, in that it is incredibly dense with world building and descriptions that can be confusing and hard to parse. I found the most enjoyment in the back and forth dialogue, either between the pilots or their advisors. I wanted to discover the hidden relationships and backgrounds between these characters, but often felt like I was being held back by a lot of dense science fiction jargon.

Either way HWBM is a VN worth reading, the emotional parts hit hard and the art and music are beautiful.
