Same experience as I had with the basegame.
Look at that review for my impressions 💋

This DLC is a great addition to the base game! Ms. Chalice is actually very fun to play with.

Played this whole game in co-op (like it's supposed to be played). Sometimes I felt too dumb for the challenges and I think we completed some of them the wrong way. I guess it's part of the game, but it sadly didn't always feel satisfying to figure out the puzzles.

My thoughts:
(+ = (mostly) positive; - = (mostly) negative)
+- Gameplay;
I'm mixed about the gameplay. Some solid levels in which it was really fun to solve the puzzle. Other levels were very frustrating, because the game is very precise with certain goals you need to reach. It's a fun game to play in co-op, but be prepared for some arguing.

- Music;
I feel like the game only had 1 song or at least they were all very similar.

+ Graphics;
Fun artstyle I can appreciate. Nothing groundbreaking but special enough to be recognized.

+- Story/Characters;
Didn't include any.

Yes if you want to test your relationship/friendship. It'll show who's the smarter one 😏.

A fun Beat 'm Up game I would recommend playing co-op. This is mostly because playing this alone, takes away a lot of the intended experience you can have with the game. Charming artstyle with matching music to tingle your nostalgic brain.

A fine selection of unique characters to use. They all have something that make them feel different. There are sadly not as many levels as I hoped. But the levels that are in the game are fun to play.

+ Music;
Very nice, they clearly put some extra effort into that. The classic sounds are something my ears enjoy.

+ Graphics;
Beautiful game. The pixel artstyle that will never badly age. Lots of expressions and always something new to discover.

+- Story/Characters;
The story is what you expect, nothing special. All characters have their own personality which encourages to try them all to see which moves they can do.

Depends. If you are into TMNT or want an easy game to play with some friend(s) on a couch, then yes for sure. If you're curious, I would wait till there is a sale happening. If you're still unsure, just check a trailer. It'll show what you'll get.
