I like this game more than my rating suggests! It is so janky and I love it.

Really cool and fresh rhythm game! I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes.

I think the conclusion is a bit muddled but I appreciate what they were trying to do and I still think it carries. Also very fun to listen to Jonathan Sims be extremely disappointed in me over and over and over

"The unforgiving gameplay is integral to the narrative" I say as I lower myself further into the Singing Machine

Fun VN with a (mostly) interesting cast and varying quality of mysteries. I enjoyed it the whole way through, even if some of the solutions and reveals had me going, "Come on, really?" Ultimately I like it more than DR because it generally avoids making sex jokes about teenage girls, which was a pleasant surprise.

Honestly, the worst part about this game is how fun and well-written it is. There is potential here that, now that it is released and GF/TPC has inevitably moved on to developing whatever comes next, will never be realized. With more development time and a less breakneck release schedule it could have easily become the best Pokemon game ever released.

I sometimes scoff and roll my eyes when people earnestly call gameplay "addicting," but like, I think I get it with this one.

Just a bit too boring and clunky for my liking. I'm glad I gave it a shot though.

I try to tell people what a witty and charming and emotionally moving game this is but no one will listen because all they want to talk about is Granny Cream's Hot Butter Ice Cream you take the hot butter mix it with the ice cream freeze it up cool you can see it on your screen put it in the microwave make it real hot like a soup or a dip we call it heat 'n sip very tasty and healthy too Granny Cream's Hot Butter Ice Cream

I hope I can give this one another shot someday. The immediate disappointment I felt from the drop in quality compared to 4 just bounced me off so hard that I still have yet to recover.

This game absolutely blew me out of the water. It made me rethink what a Pokemon game could--or should--look like. Just wish it didn't look so muddy.
