Despise the fast travel system and the break in immersion it causes.

Armored Core 6 becomes impossible to put down once the combat begins to click.

Making the chapter 1 boss so difficult was genius in hindsight because it forces you to understand all the game's mechanics. Before this fight, you could have more or less coasted through the early levels without fully understanding the staggering / boost / armor/ etc concepts.

Screenshots of the game won't do the visuals any justice as the in battle effects do the leg work in making the screen pop. AC v AC fights are stunning. The stakes in the story escalate to blistering heights, and the tension created by the cutscenes never breaks as the speed, intensity, and chaos inherent to the gameplay amplify the urgency of the narrative.

Arena mode is too easy and I haven't tried multiplayer yet

Hits like crack from the jump. While I was comfortable putting down breath of the wild for good after completing the main story and a handful of side quests, the new mechanics and areas in tears of the kingdom make this something I will likely come back to forever.

The sprites, music, and off beat humor create a unique vibe that makes up for the fact that the Microgames (while very fun) become noticeably repetitive / same-y soon after starting the game.

While the improvements brought to Dead Space 2023 create an intense, immersive atmosphere that makes the world feel fulfilling to engage with and the experience ultimately worthwhile - repetitive combat and puzzles can make the later levels feel like a chore to get through.
