A great remake that takes the original and just slightly modernizes the feel and checkpoints to make this an arcadey distillation of what makes Metroid games great. Phenomenal pixel art to boot.

(Only reason I didn't finish was because I don't have the patience to master the Mother Brain fight. On to the next game!)
