After a replay 8 years later, this game holds up. Now that I'm much older (and the game runs like butter on my PC) I especially appreciate Rockstar's obsession with injecting simulationism into many aspects of the game, while maintaining a toybox-like quality overall. I hear RDR2 further explores this, so I'm looking forward to playing that.
