The last boss felt like a kick in the nads after what was a relatively painless overall experience.

As a Sega Channel enjoyer, this is the Golden Axe I have nostalgia for. It's perfectly okay.

Resident Evil but blander in every aspect.

This would be a great game if it wasn't so bloated.

This has the best bosses in the series. A few of the repeating segments of going into the shadow world were annoying, but other than that, this is a solid entry.

Impressive full 3D levels a year before Quake and Mario 64. Plays super smooth. Better PS1 game than Crash or Spyro.

Normally not a big fan of JRPGs, but Live A Live's grid based combat and variety of design won me over. The amazing soundtrack helps too.

One of the best Castlevanias, but I feel like it's a slight regression from Super Castlevania IV gameplay-wise. If it had taken some ideas from that game, it'd likely be the best.

When companies say "This is a love letter to the fans." they are always full of shit. But this game is unironically one of the best love letter to the fans that exists.

2003

The absolute peak of the Extreme Sports games of the late 90s/early 00s. Also the soundtrack interacting with how well you're doing and your altitude is an amazing feature.

Although the gameplay is pretty simple, Dark Legacy is constantly entertaining with its sheer variety of level and enemy themes, and some inventive level design.

Terribly ugly. Fun until the last 3 levels decide to start busting your balls, and then the final boss being a complete slog.

A cool and interesting setting with very simple but fun combat. Unfortunately it's very short and ends rather abruptly.

Fun game that starts to build up lots of cool mechanics, but then feels suddenly rushed to the ending after you get all your tools.

The best GBA Castlevania. No, I will not elaborate.
