A very solid brawler, with a touching story and absolutely fantastic visuals.

The fighting though is not without its issues, with the camera sometimes being your greatest enemy, and my main gripe, the very poorly balanced difficulty levels.

In hard mode, trash mobs will give you a MUCH harder time than a giant boss just because there are several of them, attacking from behind and breaking your combos while hitting HARD but having very long health bars.

Not often does a sequel offer such a level of refinement, polish and originality, while expanding on a pre-existing world and story.

Tears of the Kingdom is an absolute masterpiece, that somehow managed to surpass what I considered to be the ultimate open world game.

Sure, the exploring feels different this time, as the overworld is already familiar. But the subtle changes here and there, the crazy possibilities brought by the new powers, the variety of new activities and quests, and the quality of the narration make Tears of the Kingdom an even greater game.
