Never expected to play a Persona game, but I am so happy I am writing this P5R review and actually committed to trying the game.
It is a bit unconventional and bloated? Sure. But it's fun, and actually does a better job respecting my time than other games (hi CP2077).
Is it weird hooking up with your teacher? Well I guess ultimately that was my choice, but yes.
It is odd to view this through the lenses of all the pokemon I used to play, also yes -- I had no idea Persona really did it first.
Take it from someone who would have laughed pre-lockdown about the thought of sinking 100+ hours into a Persona game that it is worth your time to at least experiment with.
