FPS NetHack, sort of. it's less inspired by NetHack and more just rips a lot from it, mostly just surface level content. that is not, strictly speaking, a bad thing. what matters is the execution. the execution is at best okay here: the game is deceptively easy, many mechanics feel superfluous or are just bad (which is perhaps faithful to NetHack), yet the game is lacking content where it is perhaps most important in level set pieces and monsters. and, this is mostly personal taste, but i find the voxel art of this game and others (Cube World, Trove) just repulsive. Minecraft looks fine but this does not.
still better than NetHack.

emulated. above-par NES title held back by the usual NES jank, questionable tile art and use of tiles, and some awful bosses (namely, Frankenstein and Death).
feels like a singleplayer fighting game almost -- you can't move when attacking or crouching, and jumps have set arcs. there are even motion inputs, kinda. makes me just want that instead, actually.
EDIT: previously rated 3
