Not sure what to rate this one to be honest: I
could have gone ★ or ★★, two stars because I
love the franchise, one star because this game is so slowly paced I gave up.

Naughty Dog tried, and failed, to make an
"'important" game and instead made a bland action
game with a superfluous story that sullies the
name of Naughty Dog's flagship franchise.

I was built for the beat 'em up I grew up on beat 'em ups, but I am a middle age software engineer, and mashing buttons on a device like the Switch with my rickety wrists is a terrible time.

I would have loved this years ago, however, I can't do it, can't play this style anymore.

As far as the story, there really isn't one, this is just arcade beat 'em up nostalgia, The gameplay is tight, and it's easy to discover combos just by randomly pressing shit.

I couldn't get behind the idea of this game. I wanted to like it, it just didn't click with me.

Two stars for the potential of the game. The rest was a disappointment.
