crashed on me like 10 times in a couple hours but otherwise fun and relaxing

really great game. so hard though. realized like halfway through that i wouldn't be able to get the strawberries, let alone all of the rest.

a fun and cute little game. what's better than one of those

incredible game. sped through it in less than 24 hours. reminds me a lot of halt and catch fire, especially in the endings of each. can't wait for 2

a game where the highs are very high and its very fun to play but sadly a letdown from the promise of not just being a sequel to Breath of the Wild but also squandering the potential of so many of the cool added aspects of the game. best music in the business.

really loved this! i dont know if im just impatient, but i did use a guide for almost all of it (after whatever it was that caused me my first roadblock). i think that's more of a me thing, that it still felt a little too obtuse for me to play it completely on my own, but it keeps me from really really cementing it as an all timer for me. still - really great. looks amazing, sounds amazing, plays amazing, really fun and challenging. a great video game.

not really a fan. it was fine, but a lot here i didn't like - doesn't feel great to move around (which is why i didn't actually finish the collectables), i think the character designs (or at least how they're rendered) are pretty bad, and i wasn't really feeling the story. combat was pretty fun, which i feel like is the main thing people talk about with this game, even though i wasn't really a fan of some of the encounters (multiple gun wielding thugs in a big room? big joker?). probably wouldn't return to this, but i might check out the others!

really, really enjoyed this. an incredible improvement over forbidden west. some fun puzzles (including ones you had to read things for! they weren't complicated but it was still a little interesting!), some fun encounters, fun use of the environment, the additional enemies were fun, the main villain was something a little different from the rest of the series so far, the new area looked good, and i really liked aloy and the story of this one! one important thing that i caught - the collectibles found around the world were NOT map markers you just made your way to. they actually involved just looking around the world and finding interesting spots. i think that going forward, if that's the way they go for this series (along with all of the other improvements, like the writing and characterization), it'll be a drastic improvement. it's hard to say if it's just the length of this that helps it pack a better punch, but i still think that it could be a good blueprint for the series future!!

thought it was an improvement over the first one in basically every way, except maybe length. there didn't need to be THIS MUCH! but better combat, better puzzles, better story, a good time! will be playing horizon 3 day one!

didn't finish this. actually gave up in death mountain - getting through any of this is like bashing my head against the wall, and not in any fun sort of way. couldn't even make it this far without creating a new save state after every enemy. there's a lot to like here - the way it looks, the soundtrack, the leveling system - but overall just too hard.

testament to this game that i beat it in one sitting i guess! frustrating and obtuse but also wonderful and charming in equal measure. can't imagine playing this in 1986, with barely any idea on what to do but never having been exposed to something like this ever before. a miracle!

pretty fun game! really vibed with the visuals, the gameplay, and the base outline of the plot - the idea of taking the standard sci-fi "precursor race" setup and changing it so that the precursors are US isn't necessarily original but it's interesting and kept me wanting to see what happened next! plenty you can improve on - streamline the open world elements a bit, work on the specific writing, make the character animations a little better. but it's definitely got me feeling like i want to roll right into the sequel, which i am going to do.

my favorite video game series with my favorite video game villain
