Recently had a chance to play this again and man it really holds up. It's one of the easier pinball games out there, but there is a lot of objectives to do in a single run. Physics probably don't legitimately match good pinball physics, but you can still control it well. Find it on myabandonware if you want to try it!

Really solid shmup with tons of level variety and a little customization. Would've liked a few more powerups or perks but I guess that would probably throw off the level balance a bit. Great game!

Slow paced RTS I feel. Maybe I am playing it wrong. Not enough variety to encourage me to complete the campaign. Would rather just play age of empires tbh.

Beautiful game with kind of a mediocre game loop. From the hour or two I played, nothing really changes other than enemy design, but those enemies still approach you with similar patterns, so the variety isn't really there to hold my attention for very long.

Perfectly fine game. For a free 5-10 diversion it works perfectly.

Fantastic replication of the old "Nintendo hard" game. But still being beatable, you will die A LOT. But the gracious checkpoint system, magic abilities, and ability to change difficulty mid level. You can beat it! I enjoyed my time with it despite how torturous it is. Well done to Capcom for making a faithful sequel.

Pretty fun mystery game with fantastic voice acting and beautiful art. The mystery itself has a good beginning when you interrogate all the new characters (because the voice acting is so good) and solve a few Layton-esque puzzles, a kinda rough middle where you kinda just mash the hint button because the game sort of lacks a way of directing you to the right rooms beyond that, and a good ending where you put all the pieces together and feel a bit smart because the game guides you to answers pretty well I feel.

I recommend it especially at a discount for a short mystery game.

Well I think it's an alright game. It's such an inferior product compared to DK94. It lacks some charm, the puzzles are kinda barren in terms of thought. Movement is a bit jank because there is a little bit of time before you start moving after turning around. And detection for ladders and ropes is hit or miss. I will say it's a pleasant experience. The levels not being too challenging and so bite-sized makes it easy to play and recommend. It also looks quality despite the barren level layouts. The music is fantastic too.

I kinda want NST to make a Wario Land 4 remake with this style/music direction.

Ys style battle system with a beautifully polished art style and UI. Amazing set pieces, unique chapter scenarios, and star fox style banter with the exception of every character being really super into each other. The main campaign is only about 15 hours long, but there is tons of post-game content because there is a huge roster each with their own playstyle and skills so you still have the opportunity to play everyone even after the story is long over. Just an absolute polished masterpiece with so much love for the source material poured into it. It's obvious it's just a love letter for Granblue fans as well as an entry point for new fans because they just wanted the game to be absolutely charming to anyone who picked it up.

No notes, it is the first game I really felt like a part of the power of friendship while fighting the 73 final bosses.

It's about as good as you'd think it would be. A generally satisfying gameplay loop of base building and monster capturing. World seems huge but mostly empty outside of new Pals. I think the game is just merely fine. Which is probably a crux to these early access type games. Interested to see if the devs even finish it, but the roadmap doesn't seem to have anything that interesting on it to make this a full game. It almost seems like a gameplay prototype, a good one, but doesn't seem to have vision beyond that.

Really, really, great game. Well designed, not a slog, some variety, good world building. I would give it a little bit more points if there was just a touch more interesting secrets to find. Logs weren't really enough, side missions had decent lore though. A lot of the weapons feel really weak in the impact department, even if you do mow down enemies easily later on in the upgrade tree. Still, for a faithful remake and the first game in the series this is actually really good.

A really great cozy game with tons of features. I can appreciate the what its doing and its doing it very well. Tons of customization, a long story with varied areas and concepts. It keeps going! Gameplay is a bit like the old Diner Dash but with a lot more content and mechanics. If you are in the mood for a chill experience with short bouts of chaos. Definitely give it a go

The game is merely fine. I don't get the praise for the gunplay or general exploration. The game seems to send a lot of the same enemies (granted varied per area) in endless waves and it doesn't feel very rewarding to defeat them. Good bosses, and there is some really interested dungeon concepts but it isn't something that every dungeon does. The game gets repetitive really quickly. Excellent world building though, seems like a lot of thought went into it. The puzzles seem to be very interesting, but I don't know how you supposed to get a lot of them without some sort of guide, especially when your co-op buddy might be more impatient than you. Some sort of highlight placed around important pieces would've gone a long way, like in games like RE.

Really short, not really a game. But wasn't meant to be. Just a couple of gags.

A really chill relaxing game until the very last seconds where you have made complete spaghetti and can't save yourself. Thankfully there are endless and creative modes there to maintain the zen and you can continue from a failed normal game.
