it’s ocarina, man.

outer worlds is not a big budget game with 500 features or RTX support or whatever, but it’s a game that i’ve beaten twice, bought both dlcs for, and throughly enjoyed myself. i think its satire and humor is on-point, its dialogue wonderful, and its characters instantly endearing. it’s simple, but in this current game climate: it’s refreshing. also, it has lesbians.

played this at the end of 2020. after a horrible year, this game really carried me through the start of 2021 and reignited my interest in art. had a lot of fun, but wish this game had more story/meat and less grinding.

such an underrated, amazing game that’s fundamental to my personality. the only thing holding this stellar experience back are the controls and i sincerely hope it gets ported someday. if you haven’t checked out uprising, please try to go in as blind as possible and enjoy yourself. hades said it best.
