While 3 remains my personal favorite as far as story, aesthetic, music, and overall personality, this one is the most fun to play by FAR and probably the one I'll sink the most hours into.

Varying high-speed gameplay with intricate mechanics and a system that rewards you for knowing just how intricate they can be for each character! Bangin' soundtracks to go with it that only get more bangin' the better style you have! Fun weapon selection! No annoying puzzles! No half-assed attempts at platforming!

Nero is my favorite character now and it only took him saying "I'm baggin' this bitch!" for that to happen even after I walked away from 4 thinking that he was fine but not especially noteworthy. His banter with Nico is excellent and the two of them together are just. <3 I love them.

My only real complaints have to do with the pacing of the story and its reliance on things like flashbacks to communicate its plot but because the story is so centered on the relationship between Dante, Vergil (+V by proxy), and Nero, I never felt lost or like it was a real "issue" per se. The story gets back to the heart of what I liked so much about DMC3 and you're lying if you say you weren't a little emotionally impacted when you watched Nero activate his Devil Trigger purely out of the desire to end the cycle Dante and Vergil have fought themselves into.

DMC6 starring Lady and Trish please

Good game, I like it a lot, I am the storm that is approaching
