How is it possible to fumble the bag this hard? How did we get here? At a certain point it takes active effort to release something as bad and lazy as this. I am almost convinced that it isn’t even laziness but an act of self-sabotage; like how they could have left some of the DLC characters re-using other character’s animations but instead went and stole the work of a modder’s custom animations.

These games were finished and pretty polished, and certainly didn’t take up anywhere near the file sizes as they do now. Even knowing the textures were upscaled to 4K, how does that end up with 60~ GBs of data? Even on Nintendo Switch, this thing takes up 34 GBs of data— more than Mortal Kombat 1 on Switch. I have not heard of a new engine being utilized so I may be wrong but how did all these new bugs get here?

This release has left me with more and more questions, and this is quite possibly the worst fumble with any re-release/remaster I can think of in recent memory. Absolutely embarrassing on Aspyr’s part.

Ironically a 10/10 but actually a 0/10 piece of garbage.

This game is like if what everyone on the internet critical of modern GF said was 100% un-cynicistically true, but with guns.

(A few-weeks-early one-year review)

I don’t know, maybe I had put too much faith in the team when this first released. My launch review was 4 stars, simply because I was already a big Overwatch fan and enjoyed all the changes that 2 brought.

But after a year has passed, I’ve come to feel disappointed with how the devs handled changes and patches and new content. The battlepass is probably the worst thing to happen to this game, because heroes and maps and skins now feel like they were forced out to keep up with a battle pass monetary system. Instead of the occasional pretty good new map, character or skin, now we get mid content often. I used to play this game for a few days every week, but I haven’t even touched it once a little bit after Kiriko released.

I don’t think any other game has fallen off this hard to me post-launch. The one thing that was going to bring me back got canceled, being the single player campaign. And I don’t really think anything they could do will reignite my interest, unless they overhaul the entire game (Overwatch 3?)

I just wish this game had a different developer, because Overwatch at it’s core was a pretty great game.

Refused to actually play this when I was a kid because crying baby Mario scared me and gave me anxiety. Still sucks to hear it but at least there’s banger art and level design to go with it.

“Mom, can we get Crash Bandicoot 4?”
“We have Crash Bandicoot 4 at home.”
Crash Bandicoot 4 at home:

One of the most graphically bizarre games ever made and I wonder how many children Gamefreak gave seizures to with this

Shout out to everyone who’s marked this as played, living life with 0 (or maybe a little) shame

This thing stinks

Not something I’d expect to like as much as I did, but this was such a sweet and fun little puzzle(?) action(?) platformer(?) birb game

Great game with an amazing story but Tartarus is just not fun to explore or go through and Persona fusion is awfully dreadful.

I think it’s a shame that this game launched in such a poor state, because I truly believe this to be the best Pokemon game in the whole 3D era. I understand why some people can’t look past the bugs and performance, but I think there truly is a great game behind it all.

I am NOT a brony
But this game is really good

Newer gens of Pokemon have made me dislike older gens more and more, so I was looking forward to a remake of an older gen title.

Unfortunately they stayed a little too truthful for my taste and I just find this game incredibly boring. I don’t think its BAD bad, but after playing Legends Arceus, I have no reason whatsoever to finish this.

More of the same as Overwatch 1 (which I do think highly of) but with some changes that I find very welcoming. (Changes to tanks, removal of certain maps and 2C + addition of Push) Battlepass system sucks inherently but I haven’t seen exactly how bad it can be just yet. Possibly will update the score a little bit if I feel like it gets terribad.

Played about 4 hours of it today and had a good bit more fun with it than when I last played Overwatch 1 and that’s all I was really hoping for.
