At risk of repeating every single review of this game, I did really enjoy the design of this game and the platforming controls, but there was just something so unrewarding about the challenge to fully complete each level. I loved the flashback tapes up until about the 10th one when I just lost motivation for how difficult they were to unlock and finish, which caused me genuine levels of stress. I ended up having more fun when I abandoned 106% and attempted to finish the story without forcing full completion. Didn't really care for the other character levels or N'verted mode. Did really enjoy casually playing the Crash levels though, and it is a beautifully designed game.
