this is the saddest bad review i've ever given, this game fucks on nearly every level but the horrible camera, enemy design that makes it a huge problem with lots of mobility and teleports breaking lockon which is already barely functional to begin with, and questionable hitboxes make it really unpleasant to play
truly the sequel to the racing game of all time, now with even more nonfunctional drifting forcing me to play a super grippy car in a game with no analog steering

long ago, this review would be a 4.5, but everything changed when the horrible rubberbanding in max tours attacked, other than that it's pretty peak but i'm never truly finishing this game because of it
reinstalled this after getting into mirishita and it's way rougher than I remember from 2020, the rhythm mechanics (particularly the swipes) are quite clunky and unresponsive, performance is shockingly rough on my phone and it takes up an ungodly amount of space even before any 3d models, super frequent and slow downloads (when batch downloading songs it was a 3 minute download just to tell me how big the actual download would be), and a lot of concerning characters (I will punt the entirety of u149 into orbit) though that's par for the course for this franchise.
All of this is obviously understandable given the game's age and I'm glad it's still around but goddamn it's surprising that it still is.

trying to get into imas after love live started fucking imploding, the actual mechanics aren't that special compared to other mobile rhythm games but it has emily so its all good, it's also unreal how well this game is optimized
