The game is good, but the Switch port sucks. There's a nasty bug that can randomly ruin your save file. Spare yourself the trouble and play on some other platform.

I get it that Danganronpa (and the likes of it) go for action gameplay, which can arguably be more fun than plain text trials like Ace Attorney, but sheesh the action parts feel sloppy and boring. I only played Chapter 0 and was so disappointed by the gameplay that I think I'll shelve it. I am curious where the story is going so maybe I will eventually pick it up again, but for now my opinion is "kodaka games are really bad at being action games".
