It's very short (completed over two lunchtimes) janky (I had to pick every ingredient up twice, first time it would always drop it) and utterly baffling in places, but I can't pretend I didn't enjoy it. Kinda Pythonesque with the animations and surrealist stuff going on. I still have no clue what happened, but it's certainly original.

Partially an interactive movie and partially a button-pressing simulator, Past Delicacies is unhinged and unashamed, losing its way early on and reveling in that sensation of being lost. It's charmingly janky and is made of near entirely of either craft store disasters or rejected PSX models that keep the player off-balance as the stakes raise and the structure collapses. My biggest criticism? It understays its welcome for how much it touches on. This is one of the only games I will ever call "too short".

If you're interested, go in blind and spend the hour. But if you're even a little unsure, you'll likely slide right off this one.
