• Deactivating your account will now send you an email with a reactivation link
• Deciding to reactivate only requires opening that link, rather than waiting for support
• Support via the contact form is still a valid way to reactivate your account otherwise

Self-service account deletion

• You now have the option to delete your account from your Account settings
• Deletion is permanent and your data cannot be recovered once done

Patreon Account Integration

• Connect your Patreon account to Backloggd to recieve your perks
• Manage your account from your settings page
• Updates should be fully automatic, no longer needing manual checks

Review Appeals

• Go to any of your removed reviews and select 'Appeal Removal'
• Grants ability to talk directly to the mod team about your removed review
• When allowed, you can edit your removed review to get re-approved by a mod to reinstate

Notifications Revamped

• New notification system and UI separate from inbound activities
• New ones added today are for mentions, review removed, review restored, comment removed, and recieving an appeal response
• Allows for new types of notifications to be added in the future

User Mentions

• Mention users in comments by appending @ before their username
• This will notify the mentioned user with your comment
• You can restrict who can notify you by changing your notification settings

Log Editor Revamp

• The idea of playthroughs is no more, instead you just have logs. Multiple logs can be created each with their own rating, platform, review, etc..
• New 'Game Status' section to represent game-specific data vs log-specific
• 'Journal' section has been moved to sub-section under each log
• Game status is no longer it's own field, it is now a sub-option for the Played game status

• Specify the medium in which you played your game through
• Includes a new 'Watched' option compared to the 'Ownership' field from before

Played on platform field for each log

• Specify the physical platform you played
• Allows selection of any platform vs being restricted to the release platforms
• By default will set itself to match the release platform if nothing is specified manually

Removed release platforms now show a warning in the log editor

• When you have a platform saved for a log that has since been removed, it will show a warning next to the platform name

Journal 3.0 Revamp

• New jump to today button that will bring you to today's date
• Play sessions no longer have a status field

Play session notes now support the same markdown formatting used in reviews, comments, etc..

Play sessions can now have up to 8 custom tags

• Tags can be filtered in a profile's journal view
• Can be up to 16 characters long containing only letters, numbers, spaces, and hyphens.
