"Blazing Star" is a pretty terrific shooter. I get why it's considered a classic for the Neo Geo AES/MVS. The backgrounds are sick as hell, the music bangin and it's delightfully tough as nails. This is the kind of game you could play for years and years just trying to perfect a run. The mulitple ships that it gives you to choose from all change how you tackle the bullet hell onslaught and enemy patterns. I've played thru it tons of times and it never ceases to entertain.
