Kind of unquestionably an upgrade unless you highly value a simple, pure experience, it is very impressive how much as been refined and added both visually and mechanically in a game released less than six months after its predecessor .

The board game levels are larger and more complex here, with branching paths, optional mini-bosses that challenge you with riddles instead of trivia, and potential "Lucky" cards that can earn you bonus points or extra heath pips along with spots that warp or remove options from questions. And though each stage is significantly bigger in size, the potential amount of spaces on can move in a turn also increases, leading to higher highs and lower lows depending on the draw. Suddenly the game has real pleasures outside of answering questions, making for a much fuller feeling package!

Focusing entirely on characters from the NES game Kamen no Ninja Hanamaru (reskinned in English as Yo! Noid...oh no) strips the game of Capcom World's celebratory, meta charms, and there still doesn't seem to be much of a difficulty curve to speak of, but Hatena definitely shows the quiz masters refining their talents in a major way.
