A simple dungeon crawler that's perfect for the game boy. Small maps and quick fights make it easy to pick up and put back down. I played using an English patch and I'm pretty sure it glitched and wiped my save file when I was on the final palace. Oh well, it's a very predictable game, and you get exactly what's on the tin. There are some neat abilities like Substitution where you can make the enemies attack each other. It's crucial to use these abilities until you've grinded your current floor enough. Cool box art too.

I won't say this is a must play game, but for an OG Gameboy dungeon crawler it's really not bad at all. The level grinding and progression is simple, yet satisfying.

This game scared the shit out of me when I was 7.

not for me, but i can see people loving this. it's nice to see something like this on the game boy!
