Aztech Forgotten Gods is the cyber-stone action-adventure following Achtli, a young woman who battles the colossal Forgotten Gods. To uncover the truth behind her far-future Mesoamerican metropolis, she'll have to turn the Gods' power against them, as she soars through the city with power and grace using an ancient artifact, remnant of a time long forgotten.

There's definitely an interesting concept there and the writing is pretty good, but the gameplay feels pretty jank and simple overall. It's not bad, but not necessarily worth anyone's time when there are so many great games. I played this exclusively on Steam Deck.

This review contains spoilers

I don't know if you should play it, I can see the developers cared when they created the game but there are SO MANY bad things that it´s disturbing.

I will cite some exemples of the bad things: The game is basically just a flying simulator because what you do is just fly all over the city the most of the game, you barelly fight a enemy that are not bosses, and I once made out of the map while fighting a boss, right to the limbo. But the biggest problem is the NPCs, they look made of clay and are just models painted over, some of them dont even have walking animation.

The best thing this game has is its aesthetics and ambiance, cool designs for the bosses and map.
