Barbie is cast as Genevieve, one of the twelve princesses who live with their windowed father King Randolph in a castle. They live a frivolous live, so Randolph brings over his cousin Duchess Rowena to raise them as proper princesses. She makes their lives miserable however and poisons the king, so they flee to a magical world brought to life through a story of their mother. Rowena traps them there, along with Genevieve's friend Derek, and they need to use a goblet to collect mystical water that can cure their father.

I tried the PC version and personally hated it. I found it awkward to control Barbie and jump, and the Twyla game drove me crazy. I was getting overly irritated with this and something was bothering me about getting all of Genevieve's sisters, but I forgot what it was. I gave up after a few hours. It just wasn't for me. Shame, because this is one of my favorite Barbie movies

another childhood game i recently replayed on ps2 because my boyfriend is absolutely cute and listens to my rambles about childhood games and actually bought this for me to revisit my childhood. <3
honestly, its your generic barbie game.
im really nostalgic with this game because i played it quite a lot back in the day.
its not really a 3 star game, but to me it is. for a childs game it does its job.
its just nothing extra ordinary and the magic kinda just isnt there anymore.
it was still awesome to be able to play this again so, so many years later.
