Bomb Bee

released on Jun 30, 1979

It is the sequel to Gee Bee, which was released in the previous year. The objective of the game is to use two paddles to bounce a ball which flies around and hit the colored bricks above it with the ball. When the bricks are cleared out of the side sections, it will turn that same side's pop-bumper into 100 points instead of 10.

I like this board more than Gee Bee, but overall it's pretty much the same game.

Legend says that one guy got his pinball stuck between the 10 bumper so long that he is still out there in some arcade, somewhere, just waiting for it to come back down to this very day....

Much better than Gee Bee. I like it that instead of going back to a more conservative design, the people behind the original Bee moved on to refine their Pinball-in-name-only advance to design, and went on to create an interesting variation that's able to stand on its own.
