Camera Obscura takes the beloved platforming gameplay from the 80's and 90's and adds an innovative "afterimage" mechanic that allows you to clone the world around you in order to span gaps, create staircases, and freeze moving platforms in place.

it has a decent enough concept but it's really underbaked imo; it's rare but possible to softlock yourself, the music and aesthetics are unremarkable, and dexterity, speed and manual precision play too much of a part when the puzzle mechanics should be doing most of the work

Took the afterimage gameplay mechanic, rocked with it, and rolled with it by combining puzzling button combinations with strategic platforming. Some levels are real thinkers, others, real stinkers in button precision and getting the combo right. The dev could have made the musical choice more varied in the first two floors (it's one track on repeat, the whole way through). However, even if not, it still loops well. All in all, well worth the $2.
