Max is back!! Bigger and bader than ever before!!!! Stainless/SCi announces the release of the eagerly awaited sequel to its 1997 smash hit Carmageddon, Carmageddon 2 - Carpocalypse now. Carmageddon 1 was released last year amongst "just a tiny bit" of controversy, with calls to "ban this killer car game" from the media around the world, and then went on to prove its critics wrong by scooping a body bag full of awards from around the globe. Developed once again, by the patients of Parkhurst prison's clinically insane wing, known as Stainless Software, Carmageddon 2 - Carpocalypse Now, is destined to make computer gaming history again. Let's face it, Carmageddon 1 caused a blood storm in a teacup, this time prepare for a full-on tidal wave. Carmageddon 2 - Carpocalypse Now will take players to the next level of gameplay, whether you are trying to hold down your lunch after taking out those pedestrians waiting for a bus, or franticly trying to re-build your car after having your butt kicked by one of the GAME'S AI opponents, Carmageddon 2 - Carpocalypse Now will take you to the edge and further as you race your way through 1998's greatest driving game.

Divertido, pero los controles bastante malos.

Tan incontrolable como la primera entrega y sin innovar lo más mínimo. Mejores gráficos pero poco más.

The game is a race to brutality, the violence transcends the realm of the game's universe into the gameplay controls, which wre truly painful.
But the overall content and bloodthirsty visuals of destruction and mischievousness makes up for it.
You can win each race by:
1 - completing the race conventionally against the opponents, which is boring;
2 - killing every single pedestrian off the map, which is (almost) impossible;
3 - blowing up every other opponent involved in the pseudo race, which is the intended way.

The levels are filled with powerups and game modifier pickups, which are meant to help you destroy the other vehicles, give you points, or simply satisfy the evil within you.
Tha game is divided into 10 series of races, each one consisting of 3 races and 1 bonus event.
Last mentioned bonus event is always the trial and error type of annoyance behemoth which will have you celebrate with champagne after completion and will leave you eager to see what the newly reached series of races has in store.
Satiate your thirst for pointless destruction while banging Iron Maiden in the background.
A classic.

Ağzımdan bal damlıyor değil mi :D Yoo, hayır... Senin bugün oynadığın oyunlar çok mu farklı !? Değil- tersine, aynı... :d Carmageddon'da son dönemde çıkan oyunların hepsi var;

- GTA V !!
- Flatout

Games like this live on as memories of simpler times in childhood. That's the only way they can, because no one is going to make the mistake of thinking Carmageddon II is a masterpiece. But, for me—and I'm sure many like me—fondly remember the ridiculous squishing of pedestrians and far-out power ups that were basically the developers having fun with engine tools and calling them a feature. The era of big head mode games when video games didn't take themselves so seriously.

For me, my uncle was my gateway to all the games that were not age appropriate. Carmageddon II was one of my favourites. Liberally inspired by Roger Corman's classic "Death Race 2000" the goal is to cause destruction and massacre the innocent. It really couldn't hold a candle to games like the Twisted Metal series, but I prefer it. The 90s were all about games that pushed the envelope with violence and obscenity and Carmageddon was one series that was really willing to "go there" with absolutely no shame. But it's fun and campy and should be treated as such. I think games were so eager to be violent because nuance was not something that translated well to primitive early game engines. I always hated Tomb Raider because when you kill an enemy they just fall over like a toy. You need gibs because only then you can really get the visceral response of absolute annihilation. Carmageddon II is about as visceral as annihilation can get.

Still fun, but a little bit weaker than the first one.
