The strategy bits are on the simpler side for a war sim, but they're easy to play and the isometric battles look great. The added resource management combined with minigames adds a nice bit of flavor to it all.

I played Centurion: Defender of Rome for the first time in 2017 (the game dates from 1990) and, while I don't recall many details about it now, I found it to be quite enjoyable. Perhaps a bit on the easier and simpler side, but it's important to consider that this game belongs to a different era. Revisiting games from decades past can always offer a unique experience, and this one is no exception.
