Combat: Task Force 121

released on Mar 22, 2005

After years of simmering unrest, Marxist Rebels have obtained a foothold within the Armed Services and found sympathetic comrades to lend both a voice and weapons. While a full-blown coup d'etat is not yet underway, a few early high profile rebel victories could quickly turn the tide. US forces have been called in to put a halt to these terrorist acts. You are a member of task force 121, an elite cover unit comprised of Navy Seals, Green Berets, Army Rangers and USMC Recon personnel. Your mission is to thwart the Marxist Rebels before they can recruit allies and significantly damage US interests.

2nd class FPS.
The game is... not good.
But not horrible either...
It dwells into the realm of acceptance, with 10 short scenarios which will take you only a couple of hours to finish, leaving you wondering for the multiplayer, which is dead.
So you end up playing with bots, and you have a relatively good time until all of a sudden, you realize that the AI can only shoot if the targets are at their same vertical axys' field of view.
Then everything is ruined, because you realize that you can simply camp unto an unreachable highground, and obliterate everyone.
It is then and there too, that you also realize, that these dumb bots wander on predetermined paths constantly, without ever doing something else, like taking cover, and that they merely rotate to shoot at enemies which match the requisites we spoke of earlier, and only stopping when dying.
Then you uninstall.
Except you don't because it's 2009 and you haven't got shit to play.
